Accepta 2509 is a high performance cooling water scale and multi-metal corrosion inhibitor scientifically formulated to treat and protect closed circuit water systems including central heating systems, engine cooling systems and for system pressure testing.
A technically advanced formulation, Accepta 2509 is compatible with anti-freeze offering high performance multi-metal protection for a range of systems, including central heating systems, engine cooling systems and system pressure testing.
Accepta 2509 contains a pH buffer proven to maintain a range of 6.5 - 7.5, giving the same effective protection to aluminium systems.
NOTE - Accepta 2509 contains nitrite.

Application & Dosage Information
To obtain the best results from Accepta 2509 it is important to ensure the system to be treated is clean, drained and flushed. If the system is heavily fouled it is advisable to consider thoroughly cleaning the system (Please contact Accepta for advice).
The general dosing regime is 10 litres of Accepta 2509 per 1000 litres system volume.
The system should be topped up as required based on water losses.
Testing & Control
Test if required to show a minimum of 1000ppm of nitrite within the system.
It is always advisable to carry out a 'Control Of Substances Hazardous to Health' (COSHH) assessment before use.
