Description
Accepta 2531 is a high performance water treatment corrosion inhibitor scientifically formulated for the protection of closed circuits, low and medium pressure hot water systems and chilled water systems.
Accepta 2531 comprises a superior blend of sodium nitrite, sodium borate, sodium hydroxide, polymers and azole is the ideal choice for corrosion protection in water systems containing steel and ‘yellow metal’ components.
In addition Accepta 2531 contains an essential biocide and an inbuilt indicator dye for improved monitoring and control.

Application & Dosage Information
Accepta 2531 is generally dosed at 1% of the system volume to give 1000 ppm sodium nitrite.
Dose in proportion to feedwater flow.
Accepta 2531 should be injected directly to the system using an appropriate dosing pump or via a dosing pot.
Accepta 2531 contains Nitrite and has a high pH and should not be mixed with acids.
Header tanks should be covered to minimise microbiological infection.
The inhibitor levels and microbiological status should be routinely monitored
NOTE – The high pH of Accepta 2531 means that it is NOT suitable for systems containing aluminium. For systems containing aluminium use please contact Accepta technical specialists.
