DF-C / AT-2315 is a high performance food grade silicone antifoam scientifically formulated for the control of unwanted foaming in cooling water and other water systems.

Application & Dosage Information
DF-C / AT-2315 is typically applied between 5 and 100ppm in the re-circulating water.
DF-C / AT-2315 may be diluted using either softened or demineralised water, for continuous pumped application. However, where only intermittent dosage is required it is recommended that DF-C / AT-2315 is premixed with 4 parts water prior to addition to the system.
It is always advisable to carry out a ‘Control Of Substances Hazardous to Health’ (COSHH) assessment before use.
Application in a cooling tower clean
When using Activ-Ox foam cleaning products drain the tower sump and fill with 2 inches of clean water and add the following cocktail of chemicals to neutralise the foam as it drips into the sump.
-Approx 500ml/m3 of Accepta 2315 Defoamer
-Approx 500ml/m3 of Accepta Dechlor
Boiler water dosages should start from 1ppm up to a maximum of 5ppm.
