Accepta’s innovative cooling tower pack cleaning chemical system has been specially developed to allow the in-situ cleaning of cooling tower pack components. This high performance cleaning-in-place (CIP) chemical cleaning system is especially useful where it is not practical to remove the tower packing.

Cooling Tower Pack Cleaning Chemicals

Accepta’s cooling tower pack cleaning chemical systems works to create a highly effective, stabilised wet foam that penetrates deep into the tower packing cleaning, descaling and disinfecting as it progresses through the tower.

The foam is mildly acidic so as to remove inorganic scales.

Accepta’s cooling tower CIP cleaning system also incorporates a unique stabilised chlorine dioxide (ClO₂) component that is added to the foam concentrate, causing chlorine dioxide to be released into the foam.

The release of the chlorine dioxide, a highly effective oxidising biocide, significantly aids cleaning and disinfection of the cooling tower packing.
