Description
Accepta 8304 is a high performance; aluminium hydroxide chloride based coagulant scientifically formulated for the treatment of industrial and process wastewater and effluent.
Accepta 8304’s excellent performance characteristics make it ideal for use in industrial effluent treatment including wastewaters from food, dairy, oil, textiles and chemical industries.
Accepta 8304 works by neutralising the negative charge on suspended and colloidal matter to produce compact flocs suitable for easy removal by either settlement or flotation processes. Importantly it also promotes more efficient sludge digestion and dewatering.
The active component in Accepta 8304 is a highly cationic aluminium polymer present in high concentration, which is represented as:
[Al13O4(OH)24(H2O)12]7+
Fields of Application
Accepta 8304 has a wide range of applications including:
- Industrial effluent treatment including wastewaters from food, dairy, oil, textiles and chemical industries
- Treatment of process water
- COD reduction
- Treatment of oil contaminated water
- Paper processing (retention aid)
- Water recycling
Product Benefits

Application & Dosage Information
Accepta 8304 should be dosed directly via suitable acid-resistant dosing pump into raw, wastewater or stock flow.
Dilution prior to dosing is not recommended. Dosing installation should be installed in such a way that uniform mixing is achieved.
The optimum dosage should be determined in each application using standard jar test procedure.
Accepta 8304 is compatible with most cationic polymers but stability tests should be carried out in individual applications. Coagulation pH will depend on the application but is usually in the range 5.8 to 8.0 and preferably 6.5 to 7.0.
