Description
Accepta 8308 is a high performance; Aluminium Hydroxide Chloride (Aluminium Chloro Hydrate) based general-purpose coagulant scientifically formulated for use in industrial and municipal effluent treatment applications including wastewaters from food and dairy processing, oil, textiles and chemical industries.
Accepta 8308 works by neutralising the negative charge on suspended and colloidal matter to produce compact flocs suitable for easy removal by either settlement or flotation processes and promotes more efficient sludge digestion and dewatering.
The active component in Accepta 8308 is a highly cationic aluminium polymer present in low concentration, which is represented as:
[Al13O4(OH)24(H2O)12]7+
- High cationic charge / performance
- Fixing agent
- Neutralises anionic charge
- Minimal pH depression
- Low temperature storage stabilityFields of Application
The most important fields of application for Accepta 8308 are:
- Paper processing
- Fixing agent
- Turbidity/suspended solids reduction
- Charge neutralisation
- Catalysts

Application & Dosage Information
Accepta 8308 should be dosed directly via suitable acid-resistant dosing pump into raw, wastewater or stock flow.
Dilution prior to dosing is not recommended.
Dosing installation should be installed in such way that uniform mixing is achieved.
The optimum dosage should be determined in each application using standard jar test procedure.
Accepta 8308 is compatible with most cationic polymers but stability tests should be carried out in individual applications. Coagulation pH will depend on the application but is usually in the range 5.8 to 8.0 and preferably 6.5 to 7.0.
It is always advisable to carry out a ‘Control Of Substances Hazardous to Health’ (COSHH) assessment before use.
