Accepta 6509 is a solid form engineered TTA (Tolyltriazine) based yellow metal inhibitor designed for easy addition to systems to supplement existing treatment programs Accepta 2509 is supplied in simple shot pots for easy addition to open or closed systems

HANDLING AND STORAGE

Accepta 6509 should be kept away in a cool dry area.  Properly stored, the product will remain effective for 12– 18 months. Consult Safety Data Sheet for further information

SPILLAGE AND  DISPOSAL

Accepta 6509 is a solid product. In the unlikely event of a spillage, do not allow to enter water course or drains. Small spillages – dilute with plenty of water and wash to waste.

PACKAGING

Accepta 6509 is a solid 100g tablet packaged in individual plastic pots. Each box contains 100 x 100g pots.

Feeding

When dosed into an open system, operators should attempt to find a high flow area in the sump of the cooling tower or inside an accessible make-up tank.

Closed systems can be dosed using the existing by-pass feeder.

Please note that product dissolution rates will vary depending upon water composition, temperature and flow rate.

It is always advisable to carry out a ‘Control Of Substances Hazardous to Health’ (COSHH) assessment before use.
