Description
Blended solid concentrate ACCEPTA 6504 is a proprietary water treatment Corrosion Inhibitor for hot and chilled closed water systems. Product contains Sodium Nitrite, Borax, Azole, and Polymer. Tablets are designed to eliminate spillage of liquid chemicals during addition and control noxious dusting when adding powder inhibitors.
Application/Feedrate
One tablet per 1,000 gallons of system water capacity doses 34.4ppm nitrite (as NO2).
This is a proprietary product to be used as either a stand-alone or supplemental treatment for corrosion inhibition in closed water systems.
Testing and Control
As Nitrite:
Chilled Loops – 400 – 700ppm as NO2
Hot Loops – 800 – 1000ppm as NO2
As Sodium Nitrite:
Chilled Loops – 600 – 1050ppm as NaNO2
Hot Loops – 1200 – 1500ppm as NaNO2
Feeding
Use with Accepta SolvUltima & Solv-All dissolvers.
Packaging/Storage/Handling
Each container is a pail of 40 Tablets inner wrapped with protective plastic and desiccant pack included to reduce moisture. Pails weigh 9kg. net, each pail containing 40 x 250g. tablets.
Tablet Size: 2-7/8 inch diameter, 1-3/8 inch depth
HANDLING AND STORAGE
For optimal performance, store in temperature-controlled environment at less than 30° C. Shelf stable upto 60° C.
FEEDING
Remove tablet from container and introduce into shot feeder or open tank. Dissolving rates will vary depending upon water temperature and flow rate.
