Description
Boiler Water Condensate Treatment
Blended solid concentrate, Accepta 6307 is a proprietary formulation featuring triple component neutralizing amines designed to minimize corrosion in condensate lines by balancing the pH, with the addition of an oxygen corrosion inhibitor. The product active amines are cyclohexylamine, morpholine & (DEHA) diethyl hydroxylamine. Product does NOT conform to FDA Title 21, Section 173 Boiler Water Additives.
Product CANNOT be used in steam that will be in contact with milk and milk products.
HOW MUCH TO USE
Feedrate is dependent upon amount of condensate return and feedwater alkalinity and the amount of oxygen in the condensate. This product should be fed to the boiler or the feedwater.
Dosage | Testing Method | In Condensate Return |
5ppm of product/ppm of O2 | pH | 7.5 – 9.0 |
Iron | < 1 ppm |
The above dosage is an approximate. Testing condensate must be done to verify product is being dosed properly. Adjust product accordingly to control pH and iron in condensate system.
