Description
This versatile Accepta product is based on a high-quality aqueous solution of 40% sodium bisulphite.
Accepta Sodium Bisulphite 40 is a liquid neutraliser of halogens, particularly chlorine, and a wide range of other biocides.
It can be used to neutralise excess chlorine following disinfection of water systems, including cooling water systems and the feed to Reverse Osmosis / RO systems.
Accepta Sodium Bisulphite 40 can also be used to prepare waste streams for disposal to treatment services, including public utility services, by conditioning residual biocide including, but not limited to, C/MIT, DBNPA and THPS.
It is also used for bleaching pulp in the pulp and paper industry, to remove excess chlorine used in controlling zebra mussel growth in industrial cooling water systems, and to remove metals from industrial wastewater.
