Application & Dosage Information
CG501 / AT-2536 is suitable for soft water systems only.
When starting up a new system or re-starting an existing system apply a dose of 300 ppm.
CG501 / AT-2536 should be dosed to give 100 – 150 ppm in the system.
Always consider the cooling tower manufacturers control limits.
CG501 / AT-2536 is compatible with most cooling water treatment products.
Testing & Control
Test for phosphonate at 2.4 ppm (as o-PO4) at 100 ppm, using a micro pipette method.
It is always advisable to carry out a ‘Control Of Substances Hazardous to Health’ (COSHH) assessment before use.
