Description
BS100 / AT-2306 is a high performance non-ionic surface active agent dispersant with additional antifoam scientifically formulated for the treatment of cooling water systems including re-circulating and once-through cooling systems.
BS100 / AT-2306 improves the performance of cooling systems, where fouling by microbiological slimes is reducing efficiency, by removing and dispersing the deposits.
BS100 / AT-2306 is particularly effective when used in conjunction with chlorine and or bromine based biocides and is ideally suited to be dosed with sodium hypochlorite for cooling tower cleaning and disinfection procedures and legionella control activities in accordance with the UK HSE’s ACoP L8 dealing with the control of legionella bacteria.
BS100 / AT-2306 is effective in both re-circulating and once-through cooling systems.

Application & Dosage Information
BS100 / AT-2306 should be fed continuously into the system at a point where it will be mixed and uniformly distributed.
BS100 / AT-2306 may be diluted with water if required.
For cooling tower disinfection procedures and legionella control activities under the HSE’s ACoP BS100 / AT-2306 should be dosed at the rate of 100ml/m3 of system volume.
For continuous dosage to enhance the performance of biocide programmes in either a recirculating or once through system a dosage of 5-10ml/m3 of make-up should be maintained.
It is always advisable to carry out a ‘Control Of Substances Hazardous to Health’ (COSHH) assessment before use.
