Description
CB64 / AT-2347 is a high-performance phosphate polymer-based treatment product scientifically formulated for use in steam boilers.
CB64 / AT-2347 is a blended liquid treatment of polymers and is an ideal treatment for steam boilers using softened make-up water.
CB64 / AT-2347 is effective against iron and phosphate sludges. The organic polymer provides transport of the calcium, magnesium, iron, phosphate and silica through the boiler.
The formation of adherent deposits is prevented, thus increasing the steam production runs, reducing the danger of tube overheating
Product Benefits
- High-performance polymer for use in steam boilers.
- Excellent treatment for steam boilers.
- Effective against iron and phosphate sludges.
- Increases steam production runs.
- Reduces danger of tube overheating.

For Water Tube Boilers
Dosage (ppm) = (Feed water hardness x F) + (Feed water iron x 20)
- Use factor ‘F’ 23 for boilers up to 35bar
- Factor ‘F’ 24 for boilers 35-40bar
- Factor ‘F’26 for boilers 41-44bar
- Above 44bar use an extra Factor of 1 per 3bar boiler pressure
Control product on phosphate reserve in accordance with BS2486 1997.
- 0-20bar (Phosphate range 30-70ppm)
- 21-40 bar (phosphate range 20-50ppm)
- 41-60bar (phosphate range 20-40ppm)
- 61-70bar (Phosphate range 15-30ppm)
- Maximum 70 bar pressure for product
For Shell Boilers
Dosage (ppm) = (Feed water hardness x F) + (Feed water iron x 20).
- Use Factor ‘F’23 for boiler up to 30bar
Control product on phosphate reserve in accordance with BS2486 1997.
Phosphate range in accordance with the Heat Flux for boiler up to 30bar.
- Heat flux kW/m2 <300 control phosphate 30-60ppm
- Heat Flux >300 control phosphate 10-30ppm
Note: Dose CB64 / AT-2347 proportional to the boiler feed water before the boiler feed pump.
Use CB64 / AT-2347 neat and do not mix with amines or oxygen scavengers.
It is always advisable to carry out a ‘Control Of Substances Hazardous to Health’ (COSHH) assessment before use.
