Description
CB68 / AT-2351 is an alkaline phosphate treatment and is used to maintain a congruent phosphate treatment programme in high pressure (>20 bar) steam boilers.
CB68 / AT-2351 is used for applications with zero hardness feedwater to maintain desired Na:PO4 ratio of approximately 2.6 in order to prevent corrosion associated with acidity or free hydroxyl alkalinity.
This type of phosphate programme should only be used where the feedwater is of consistently high quality and contains negligible silica.

Application & Dosage Information
CB68 / AT-2351 should be dosed continuously through a stainless injection quill into the centre of the feedwater line.
Control should be exercised based on the relationship between the pH and PO4 readings for the boiler water such that a Na:PO4 ratio of 2.3-2.8 is maintained.
The optimum treatment level for any plant will be specified by your water treatment expert.
It is always advisable to carry out a ‘Control Of Substances Hazardous to Health’ (COSHH) assessment before use.
