You are here:

This product is made to order and as such has a minimum order quantity applied to it.

Description

Kintec 2301 (Also known as Accepta 2610) is a high performance boiler water condensate and steam line treatment.

Kintec 2301 is scientifically formulated using a concentrated blend of morpholine and cyclohexylamine and is designed to inhibit carbonic acid corrosion in steam lines and condensate systems.

Product Benefits

  • High performance boiler water condensate/steam line treatment
  • Cost effective concentrated blend
  • Formulated using morpholine and cyclohexylamine
  • Inhibits carbonic acid corrosion in steam lines and condensate systems
  • Convenient liquid product

Product Properties

Form: Liquid
Colour: clear, colourless to pale yellow
pH: 12.5 – 13.5
Specific Gravity: 0.97 – 1.00
Flash Point: 70°C (158°F)

*Full details of the product properties are available in the Safety Data Sheet. See below.

Application & Dosage Information

The target dosage for Kintec 2301 / Accepta 2610 is 0.7ppm as product per ppm of M alkalinity in the condensate. Maintain condensate pH between 8.4 and 9.0 and P alkalinity between 0 and 10 ppm.

Dosage Strategy

Kintec 2301 should not be mixed or injected with sulphite containing products.

Kintec 2301 should be fed neat or as part of an appropriate mix, using a chemical metering pump, to a system location where it can be thoroughly distributed.

Performance Monitoring

Appropriate use of Kintec 2301 following the above dosing strategy should result in a corrosion rate of less than 2 mpy or iron pick-up in the condensate returns of less than 20 ppb.

It is always advisable to carry out a ‘Control Of Substances Hazardous to Health’ (COSHH) assessment before use.

For additional assistance please contact Accepta.

Test Methods

  • pH + Conductivity (Iron if necessary) – pH meter + Conductivity Meter
