Description and Use
Accepta FDCL is a stabilised liquid chlorine solution suitable for the disinfection of Potable water supplies and Swimming Pools.
Application
Accepta FDCL may be used for any application where it is necessary to maintain a continuous chlorine residual. Typical applications include treatment of drinking water storage tanks, cooling towers, swimming pools etc.
Dosage Rates
The dosage rate of Accepta FDCL will be dependent on the required chlorine residual, the chlorine demand of the water and volume to be treated. A dosage of 10ml of Accepta FDCL to 1m3 of water will provide just over 1ppm of available chlorine. The maintenance of a continual free chlorine residual requires a proportional dosing system. The chlorine residual should be monitored regularly using a simple test kit (POA). For drinking water, a free chlorine residual of 0.1 – 0.5ppm should be maintained at all times.
