Application & Dosage Information
The dosage of Kintec 5200 will vary depending on the amount and type of deposit in the system. It is normally recommended that this product is dosed to give a 1% solution for cleaning activities.
The pH should be kept at a neutral pH during the cleaning.
Specific recommendations can be provided by Accepta.
Kintec 5200 should be diluted with warm water to give a solution of the desired strength.
The solution temperature should be kept below 60°C to obtain the lowest corrosion rate.
Cleaning is more rapid if the solution is kept warm and this is recommended.
The cleaning solutions should be circulated to provide more uniform cleaning and ensure that all areas are exposed to adequate concentrations of product.
Once the cleaning is complete the system should be immediately flushed and treated.
It is always advisable to carry out a ‘Control Of Substances Hazardous to Health’ (COSHH) assessment before use.
