Accepta 8704 is a non-toxic, high efficiency de-icing fluid that incorporates BS6580 proven corrosion, scale and biological inhibitors.
Accepta 8704 can be used across a wide range of applications where a non-toxic de-icer fluid is required.
When there are freezing conditions and rain, sleet and snow there is always a high risk to health and safety. To minimise slip hazards it is essential that platforms, ladders and walkways are kept ice and frost free. This can be effectively and safely achieved using Accepta's non-toxic de-icing fluid.
Accepta 8704 contains corrosion inhibitors that will protect common metals such as mild and stainless steel, aluminium, copper, brass and cast iron. Accepta 8704 has been tested in accordance with BS5117 and found to meet BS6580 corrosion standards.
Accepta 8704 has been tested and classified as Non-Toxic by an EPA certified laboratory. Previously Propylene Glycol was the only non-toxic glycol based de-icing fluid available, however, this is no longer the case.
Accepta 8704 contains a specially developed additive that prevents it from being metabolised (during digestion) into toxic by-products.
Product mixtures are biodegradable (90% over ten days) and will not remain in the environment or bio-accumulate.
