Accepta 2590 is a high performance cleaner and defoulant, scientifically formulated for the removal of foulants from base exchange water softener resins.

Accepta 2590 comprises a synthetic resin defoulant specifically designed for the treatment of cationic resin contaminated with iron or manganese.

An advanced  blend of sequesterants, Accepta 2590 is a highly efficient cleaning product that removes foulants from base exchange water softener resins, helping to maintain the efficiency of the resin.

Application & Dosage Information

The general dosing regime for Accepta 2590 is 1 litre per 20 litres of ion exchange resin. Product is dosed directly into the brine tank.

The frequency of dosing will depend on the regeneration cycle and the level of iron in the supply water.

For heavily contaminated resins, the resin should be removed from the vessel and soaked overnight.  

On returning resin to vessel regenerate immediately.

Do NOT mix Accepta 2590 with other products.

It is always advisable to carry out a 'Control Of Substances Hazardous to Health' (COSHH) assessment before use.
