Description

Accepta 6508 is a Solid form, complete system corrosion inhibition treatment for chilled water & hot water boilers.

Contains silicates, borax, acrylates, phosphino corrosion inhibitor, and copper metal inhibitor, with a Molybdate tracer for testing

Accepta 6508 is a proprietary product to be used as a stand-alone treatment for corrosion inhibition in closed water systems. Accepta 6508 does not contain nitrites.

HOW MUCH TO USE

1 Stick can treat 400 gallons / 1500 litres of water

You are looking to achieve a Molybdate (MoO4) reserve of 8 – 10ppm

HANDLING AND STORAGE

Accepta 6508 should be kept away in a cool dry area.  Properly stored, the product will remain effective for 24– 36 months. Consult Safety Data Sheet for further information.

SPILLAGE AND  DISPOSAL

Accepta 6508 is a solid product.  In the unlikely event of a spillage, do not allow to enter water course or drains. Small spillages – dilute with plenty of water and wash to waste.

PACKAGING

Accepta 6508 is available in easy to use Sticks – 30 x 360g water soluble bags (each enclosed in a cardboard tube) per case.

FEEDING

Remove water soluble stick from corrugated container and introduce into shot feeder or open tank. Dissolving rates will vary depending upon water consumption, temperature, and flow rate.

In water less than 50°F, the sticks should be fed to closed system via side stream filter with appropriate filter media in place.

It is always advisable to carry out a ‘Control Of Substances Hazardous to Health’ (COSHH) assessment before use.
