Description

ACCEPTA 6302 Alkalinity Builder

Accepta 6302 is a treatment containing a solid form of Hydroxide & Carbonate Alkalinity.  When added to water systems, it increases the alkalinity.  The product is especially suited for raising the alkalinity in boiler feedwater with make-up waters low in alkalinity such as RO water.

Accepta 6302  contains only ingredients approved under the United States Food & Drug Administration Regulations Title 21, Section 173.310 Boiler Water Additives.

HOW MUCH TO USE

When used in a dissolving system, a solution strength of approximately 10 – 20% will be attained in the reservoir.

A control limit of between 250 – 600ppm of P Alkalinity is advised.

Odour:                         mild

pH:                               ~ 13.5  @1%

HANDLING AND STORAGE

Accepta 6302  should be kept away from acids and oxidising agents in a cool dry area.  Properly stored, the product will remain effective for 24 – 36 months.  Consult Safety Data Sheet for further information

FEEDING

Feed Accepta 61302 using an Accepta board system.

Available in three types:

  • Gravity Fed – No pump needed, requires controller relay or timer
  • Electronic Level Control – Pump needed
