Description

Boiler Water Solid Condensate Treatment

Accepta 6309 is a solid form oxygen scavenger amine product containing DEHA.

This is a proprietary compound of diethylhydroxylamine (DEHA) which is designed to remove dissolved oxygen from the systems, while providing metal passivation.

As a volatile organic it will also protect the steam distribution system from oxygen corrosion. In the presence of heat, a portion of the product will break down to form neutralizing amines that will help elevate pH in the condensate system, protecting it from carbonic acid attack. This may reduce or eliminate the need for additional neutralizing amine. DEHA does not add dissolved solids to the system.

HOW MUCH TO USE

Feed 6 ppm of product to the feedwater per ppm of oxygen in the feedwater.

Testing Method In Feedwater
