Accepta 6048 is a high-performance, highly concentrated solid chemical boiler water oxygen scavenger scientifically formulated for the treatment and protection of boiler water systems from oxygen corrosion.
Accepta 6048 has been developed to reduce the potential for oxygen corrosion in boiler water systems, and to protect condensate systems from corrosion.
Accepta 6048 is based on sodium sulphite, sodium lignosulphate, bisulphite, and eythorbate.
Accepta 6048 comprises a small (0.36kg) solid chemical baton wrapped in a water soluble bag.
Accepta 6048 is packaged in cases containing 30 x 0.36kg water soluble batons, each baton being enclosed in a sealed cardboard tube.
Each case weighs 10.9kg.

Application & Dosage Information
1kg of Accepta 6048, dosed at a rate of 30 ppm will treat approximately 73,333 lbs of boiler blowdown. This is dependent on the levels of oxygen being removed mechanically.
One case of Accepta 6048 (10.9kg) is equivalent to 57kg of a conventional liquid product. Comparative values will vary, dependent upon concentration.
Testing & Control
|Testing||In Boiler Water|
|Sulphite||20 – 60 ppm|
Test kits suitable for monitoring and controlling the use of Accepta 6048 are available from Accepta.
