EPA Registered Non-Oxidising Biocide with DBNPA 6019 – Bottle

Packaged in cases containing 4 x 2.3kg bottles.

Each case weighs 9.1kg.

Accepta 6019 is a high performance; EPA registered DBNPA based non-oxidising biocide available in a concentrated solid form. It is scientifically formulated for the treatment of cooling water systems.

Accepta 6019 has been developed for cooling water treatment applications and is highly effective against a wide spectrum of common waterborne organisms. Accepta 6019 acts to control microbiological fouling and inhibits further growth.

Accepta 6019 quickly degrades at increased pH and temperature levels to leave carbon dioxide, ammonia and bromide ions. It is considered ideal for systems operating under strict environmental and discharge regulatory requirements.

Unlike most cooling water biocides Accepta 6019 continues to perform well even at higher pH levels. It is engineered to deliver fast and effective microbial control well before any significant product degradation occurs.

Accepta 6019 is ideal where both fast antimicrobial activity and rapid degradation of the microbiocide is required. This combination improves control whilst minimising environmental impact.

Accepta 6019 contains 2, 2-Dibromo-3-NitriloPropionamide (DBNPA) 98%.

Accepta 6019 is available in fully recyclable plastic bottles each containing 2.3kg of concentrated solid chemical.

Accepta 6019 is packaged in cases containing 4 x 2.3kg bottles.

Each case weighs 9.1kg.

Application & Dosage Information

For industrial re-circulating cooling water systems dosage rates for Accepta 6019 will be dependent on the conditions of the system prior to treatment. Systems that are heavily contaminated should be cleaned prior to product use.

Apply Accepta 6019 to the cleaned system or when growth is first identified in accordance with the following:

Initial Dosage:

Dose 1kg of Accepta 6019 per 792m3 of water in the system. This dosage regime may be as a continuous treatment applied once, twice or three times weekly, or as required to control the growth of slime forming organisms.

Subsequent Dose:

When microbial activity is identified, add 1 kg of Accepta 6019 per 792m3 of bleed water as a continuous treatment daily, or every 3 days; or as required to maintain control.

It is always advisable to carry out a ‘Control Of Substances Hazardous to Health’ (COSHH) assessment before use.

Testing & Control

DBNPA test kits suitable for monitoring and controlling the use of Accepta 6019 are available from Accepta.

Feed Accepta 6019 using an Accepta board system.
