Kintec 3260 is a high performance supplemental corrosion inhibitor scientifically formulated for the treatment and protection of yellow metals in cooling water systems.

Kintec 3260 has been developed as a concentrated organic water treatment product specific to the protection of yellow metals and is designed to supplement a primary corrosion inhibition program within open re-circulating cooling water systems and also closed loops.

Application & Dosage Information

The target dosage range for Kintec 3260 is 20 – 200 ppm as product in the recirculating cooling water.

Dosage Strategy

Kintec 3260 should be fed neat or as part of an appropriate mix to the cooling water system where it can be uniformly mixed and thoroughly distributed using a chemical metering pump.

Performance Monitoring

Appropriate use of Kintec 3260 following the above dosing strategy should result in a corrosion rate of less than 0.5 mpy on yellow metals.

It is always advisable to carry out a ‘Control Of Substances Hazardous to Health’ (COSHH) assessment before use.
