Low Foaming Dispersant Cooling Water Treatment – Kintec 3254

You are here:

This product is made to order and as such has a minimum order quantity applied to it.

For low volume orders please see alternative product CG401

Description

Kintec 3254 is a high performance, low foaming dispersant designed to remove and disperse organic deposits, which are biological in nature, from open recirculating cooling water systems.

Biological growths can cause the formation of organic deposits, which may act to shield microbes from the action of biocides.

Kintec 3254 is effective in dispersing microbiological slime and debris and enhancing the efficacy of oxidizing and non-oxidising biocides.

Also, by maintaining clean heat exchange surfaces, corrosion inhibitors can more readily reach the metal surface and reduce corrosion rates. Likewise, fouling caused by hydrocarbon leaks can be rapidly removed using this product.

Kintec 3254 is only recommended for open recirculating cooling water systems.

Product Benefits

  • High performance low foaming dispersant open recirculating cooling water systems
  • Excellent at dispersing microbiological slime and system debris
  • Enhances efficacy of both oxidising and non-oxidising biocides
  • Ideal for open recirculating cooling water systems
  • Convenient liquid product

Product Properties

Form: Liquid
Colour: Slightly viscous, pale brown
pH: 5.0 – 6.0 (10% soln)

*Full details of the product properties are available in the Safety Data Sheet. See below.

Application & Dosage Information

Kintec 3254 should be slug fed to the cooling water systems as required to control the build-up of biological deposits.

Dosage Strategy

Kintec 3254 should be added directly, without dilution, to an area of rapid mixing, such as the pump suction section of the forebay.

It is always advisable to carry out a ‘Control Of Substances Hazardous to Health’ (COSHH) assessment before use.
