Description
Accepta 2533 is a very high performance, high strength nitrite based cooling water corrosion inhibitor scientifically formulated for the protection of closed circuits, low and medium pressure hot water systems and chilled water systems.
Accepta 2533 delivers superior results, and is based around a high strength nitrite formulation which includes phosphonate, polymer and azole to offer the ideal, economical choice of corrosion control for steel, cast iron, brass and copper.
IMPORTANT – Accepta 2533 is NOT suitable for systems containing aluminium.

Application & Dosage Information
Generally Accepta 2533 should be dosed to give 0.26% product in the system. This gives 1000 ppm sodium nitrite in the system.
The system should be clean when dosed.
Please note that this product will mobilise corrosion debris.
Dose an isothiazolinone based closed circuit corrosion inhibitor.
Do not mix Accepta 2533 with other chemicals unless advised by your Accepta consultant.
It is important to monitor the product concentration, pH and microbiological status regularly.
NOTE – This product is not suitable for systems containing aluminium.
Testing & Control
Measure nitrite using an Accepta nitrite drop test kit.
It is always advisable to carry out a ‘Control Of Substances Hazardous to Health’ (COSHH) assessment before use.
