Description
Accepta 2542 is a high performance molybdate – borate based water treatment corrosion inhibitor scientifically formulated to offer excellent corrosion control for the protection of steel, copper and brass in water systems.
Accepta 2542 contains no phosphate or nitrite additives and so does not encourage unwanted microbiological growth in the system.
All components of Accepta 2542 are halogen stable.
IMPORTANT – Accepta 2542 is NOT suitable for systems containing aluminium.

Application & Dosage Information
Dose Accepta 2542 to maintain a molybdate level of at least 180 ppm and a pH greater than 9.
Microbiological control can be achieved by the use of both oxidising and non-oxidising biocides.
Do not mix Accepta 2542 with other chemicals unless advised by Accepta.
It is always advisable to carry out a ‘Control Of Substances Hazardous to Health’ (COSHH) assessment before use.
Test Method
Measure molybdate levels using an Accepta drop test or comparator based method.
