Sludge Conditioner for Boiler Feed Water – 2504

Accepta 2504 is a high-performance sludge conditioner scientifically formulated for the treatment of boiler feed water systems.

Accepta 2504 is used to condition and disperse any residual hardness from within the boiler water.

Accepta 2504 is based on a sulfonated polymer and also contains 20% sodium hexametaphosphate.

Accepta 2504 is most effective in the presence of caustic alkalinity.

Accepta 2504 causes hardness cations to form a fine non-adherent sludge which is removed with the boiler blowdown.

Application & Dosage Information

Dose Accepta 2504 to give phosphate reserves in the boiler that comply with B.S. 2486: 1997.

Dose Accepta 2504 in proportion to feedwater flow. The dosage rate will depend on the degree of potential fouling (ie level of residual hardness).

Dose Accepta 2504 into the feedback or feed line via a positive displacement pump.

Testing & Control

Laboratory Test

Filter sample. Test for phosphate using high range (0 – 100 ppm phosphate) comparator method from Accepta.

On-Site Test

Filter sample. Test for phosphate using high range (0 – 100 ppm phosphate) comparator method.
