Boiler Water Oxygen Scavenger (Natural Organic Compounds) – Kintec 2199

You are here:

This product is made to order and as such has a minimum order quantity applied to it.

Description

Kintec 2199 is a high-performance boiler water oxygen scavenger based on a blend of natural organic compounds which offer both corrosion inhibition and superior dispersive properties over conventional tannin treatments.

Corrosion inhibition is achieved via the dual ability of the selected compounds to act as an oxygen scavenger plus the supportive benefit of forming a protective film on the metal surface.

Kintec 2199 can also aid in magnetite film formation in the boiler.

Kintec 2199 contains a special blend to improve shelf life and prevent biological growth or spoilage of stored chemical.

Product Benefits

  • High-performance oxygen scavenger giving outstanding protection from oxygen corrosion
  • Based on blend of natural organic compounds
  • Excellent dispersive properties
  • Aids in magnetite film formation in the boiler
  • Convenient liquid product

Application & Dosage Information

Total The target dosage range for Accepta 2603 is 55ppm of product / ppm of 02 with a residual level of 400 – 600 ppm in the boiler water.

Dosage Strategy

Kintec 2199 should be diluted no more than twenty times using softened or demineralised water (or condensate) and is dosed using either a metering pump (preferred) or a pot feeder, as appropriate.

Kintec 2199 is normally controlled within set limits in the boiler water. The specific limits will be determined by operating conditions and water quality.

Performance Monitoring

Appropriate use of Kintec 2199 following the above dosing strategy will result in oxygen removal in the boiler water.

It is always advisable to carry out a ‘Control Of Substances Hazardous to Health’ (COSHH) assessment before use.
