Accepta 2902 is a high performance inert low-toxicity silicone-based foam control agent developed to provide effective control of unwanted foam in food processing applications such as:

Accepta 2902 can be added directly into the foaming media or blended directly into formulations.
It is effective in hot and cold foaming systems over a wide pH range.
REGULATIONS & COMPLIANCE
Accepta 2902 is in compliance with section 173.340 (Defoaming Agents) of the U.S. Code of Federal Regulations Title 21 (FDA 21CFR), for both direct and indirect food contact.
Accepta 2902 is also in compliance with German BfR (Food Safety) and French Arrêté du 19 Octobre 2006 (Food Processing Aids) Under European Union Regulation EU 231/2012 (which amended Annexes II and III of EC 1333/2008) and EU 1129/2011 (which amended Annex II of EC 1333/2008), the active substance in Accepta 2902, polydimethylsiloxane, is approved as food additive E900.
The other substances present inAccepta 2902 are also approved as food additives under EU 1129/2011.
They are present in Accepta 2902 only to facilitate E900. In summary, Accepta 2902 is intended for use as a food processing aid, however, its active and facilitating substances are all approved as food additives.
Manufacture of Accepta 2902 is carried out in accordance with the principles of HACCP.
