Business Development Manager

Accepta is a leading supplier of speciality chemicals and equipment to the UK and international water treatment and environmental service sectors. Due to rapid expansion we are currently seeking to recruit a Business Development Manager to join our team.

This role would suit an experienced business development manager/ sales professional with a technical background, looking to develop their career and earning potential.

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for selling Accepta’s speciality chemicals and equipment throughout the UK. This will involve generating new business and developing existing customer relationships.

This is a stand-alone, autonomous role where you’ll generate your own leads and make your own appointments. You will also be required to develop sustainable sales accounts with senior client decision makers.

To be considered for this role you must have significant field sales experience and a technical background in engineering, chemical engineering or chemistry. Inspired by challenges and responsibility, you will also be ambitious and highly motivated with the determination to succeed.

Although not essential, experience as a sales manager, regional manager or district sales manager (or similar) will be a distinct advantage to your application. Experience in the water treatment industry is also highly desirable.
